Here I have listed the best science fiction and fantasy novels of all time. These are my favorites, and it is in no way an exhaustive list. There is much more to read and lots of gifted novelists who I have not mentioned. In the event you have any others that you think ought to be on this list add your suggestions in the comments.

one. Ursula K. LeGuin - The Earthsea Quartet. I like this book. The whole series is captivating and it is basically impossible to put down. I have a short attention span so that is saying something. The books grab you and keep you reading because they have such fascinating characters, and the world is so actual. I would recommend this book to somebody who is interested.
three. Terry Goodkind - The Seeker of Truth Series. I could not bring myself to put this at the top of the list but it came so close! The best author I have read, and such similar values to me. It is not for everyone, but in the event you love this book, I am definite we'd get along.
two. Raymond E. Fiest - The Magician Series. of the books I read when I was one time a teen and still of my favorites. I cannot read through the whole series now like I did back then (because I do know the way it ends!) but I will still pick up the first book (or three) and read them over and over. A fantastic series.
four. Frank Herbert - Dune. A classic. Basically fantastically written and out of this world. This book will take you further from where you are and embed in to you values you never thought you could have.
five. Harry Harrison - The Deathworld Series. Short tales are a number of my favourite and this author has mastered the art.

7. The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. Ridiculous and wonderful. The logic will blow your mind!
6. Harry Harrison - The Stainless Steel Rat. Another series that is got comedy and intensity. Action and an impressive hero.
9. Isac Asimov - I Robot. Not a great film. This book presents lots of of the issues such an advanced technological race could accomplish.
8. Joe Haldeman - The Forever War Series. of the best books about the future I have read. It is wonderful how a number of the things are so actual these days!
ten. The Day of the Triffids - John Windham. I read this book when I was one time in high school and never forgot it. I am definite this is of the reasons I like science fiction a lot these days.
